The Power of the Network

In July Wellington College Education (WCE) hosted its 2025 Forum—an energising day centred on our shared mission: The Power of the Network”.

Held at Wellington College and attended by delegates from WCE’s ten co-educational schools and global partners, the event reinforced our strategic commitment to being network positive—amplifying the value of each individual school through collective expertise and innovation.

Key highlights from the forum included:

• A strategic address from James Dahl, 15th Master of Wellington College, celebrating recent milestones and outlining future ambitions.
• Insightful perspectives from Sir Anthony Seldon and Michael Stevenson on how AI and global citizenship are reshaping holistic education.
• A compelling session on the strength of our network, led by Fiona Carter, Chris Rothwell, and Murray Lindo.
• The introduction of Paresh Thakrar, new Managing Director of Wellington College International, bringing fresh energy and leadership to our global efforts.
• Powerful reflections from students involved in the China Summer School and the Bangkok exchange, celebrating the role of voice and agency in international education.
• An inspiring presentation from Iain Henderson on The Bridge, reaffirming our commitment to character development, wellbeing, and leadership across the WCE community.

With over 8,000 students across the globe and flagship initiatives like the Festival of Education, WCE continues to grow as a vibrant, connected network—championing educational excellence and social impact through collaboration and shared purpose.
