Hiba Academy School and Nursery Shanghai
The schools blend British and Chinese pedagogy, ensuring compliance with Chinese educational requirements and promoting the values of Wellington College education, allowing pupils to become proficient in both languages from an early age.
The Nurseries, catering to children aged 2 to 6, provide a bilingual Early Years education based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, following Chinese Statements on Early Years education. A fun, nurturing and stimulating learning environment is prioritised, with certified teachers and qualified teaching assistants leading each class.
In the Senior School, pupils develop a passion for global scientific, linguistic and cultural heritage. They work towards IGCSE qualifications in years 10 and 11, and in the sixth form, they study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) or A Level program. These prestigious exams prepare pupils for success at top universities worldwide.
Through various activities, a Wellington education at Hiba Academy nurtures confident, independent and resilient young individuals.
