Opened in August 2018, it has already established a strong and vibrant Wellington College community in Thailand.
In its short history, Wellington College International Bangkok has been awarded the COBIS Patron’s Accreditation, becoming the first school ever to achieve this within its inaugural year and has also gained Membership of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
The Sixth Form is now based in its bespoke, purpose-built facility within the state-of-the-art Skylight building, which opened in 2025. Both current Wellington IGCSE pupils and students from other schools are welcome to join this vibrant community and embark on their A Level journey.
The School aims to deliver a world class academic and all-round education in English, underpinned by the Wellington Identity and values that are already very much alive. The Wellington community is strong, with the parent body being already vocal advocates of the school and it has also attracted some of the best teachers in the industry to Bangkok, under the leadership of Master Christopher Nicholls.
